Treatment time varies and may last less than a year or more than two. A more specific time estimate can be provided after the treatment plan is developed. How often do I need to come to the office during the treatment? After Placement of the braces, usually Dr. Ma will see patients every 4-8 weeks for adjusting the braces. Most of these appointments are short ones, from 15 minutes to 30 minutes. And we can schedule these appointments after school. Will I Have To Wear Retainers? Retainers are used to maintain the position of the teeth after braces are removed. They are always necessary. Initially, patients are requested to wear retainers full time.
